ELIZABETH BARON is an award-winning teacher, director, actor and collaborative theatre maker. She leads mask, voice, acting, red nose, and movement workshops and classes throughout the US and Internationally.  She holds an MFAs in Lecoq Based Actor-Created Physical Theater, from Naropa University/London International School of the Performing Arts (LISPA).

Liz's origins as a performer inform her work as a teacher and director. She performed in Off-Broadway and Regional theater productions as an equity actor, before moving to Colorado and London to study physical and movement theatre. After years of collaborative theatre making, colleagues and directors noted Liz's intuitive gifts. At their urging, she began to teach and direct.

Liz's masterful teaching methods combine refined technique with emotional connection. She specializes in helping people identify and work through personal blocks. Liz's playful, somatic approach  is full of humor, and guides people to discover their personal talents and strengths. 

Elizabeth was part of the permanent teaching team at GIOVANNI FUSETTI's international school of theatre creation – Hèlikos: Scuola Internazionale Di Creazione Teatrale, in Florence, Italy. She continues to teach for and with Giovanni Fusetti and HÈLIKOS, including for 'The Pedagogic Journey.' She was Pedagogic Assistant to Giovanni from 2005 to 2010. Elizabeth lives with her family in Santa Cruz, California, south of Silicon Valley.
